Anne Gilmore, 81, of Lancaster, passed away on March 22nd. Anne was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 27, 1941 to the late Hugh and Janet (McKenzie) Gilmore. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School and Ohio Wesleyan University, where she majored in Fine Art, and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Upon her graduation, she spent several years in Washington, D.C., where she was a member of the New York Ave. Presbyterian Church. She returned to Ohio to be close to her family, and worked as the administrative assistant to the General Manager of the Cintas Corporation operation in Columbus for many years.
As a member of Froebel Club, she enjoyed volunteering her artistic skills whenever needed. She is remembered by her family as a talented artist, dedicated daughter and sister, lover of pets, creative gift-giver, and favored aunt. She is survived by her brothers John and Steve (Cindy) Gilmore, and sister Susan ( Bob) Buck, her nieces Kristen Gilmore, Katie (Steve) Gohde, and nephews Mike (Jill) and Steve Gilmore, as well as grand nieces and nephews.
