Zora Burcham

Zora Gray Burcham of Brunswick, Maine, died peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at Midcoast Senior Health Center, following several months of declining health. She was 97.
A resident of Thorton Oaks, Brunswick, from 1997-2011, Zora was born in January 1914 in Buchtel, Ohio, the daughter of William and Millie Locke Gray. She graduated from Buchtel High School in 1932.
Mrs. Burcham was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Lester A. Burcham, in 1987. Together, they lived in Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Florida and North Carolina. Her brother, Donald Gray, died in 1986.

Zora is survived by her son, James E. Burcham of Harpswell, Maine; and many caring friends.

At her request, a private graveside service will be held later in Ohio, arranged by the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home of Lancaster, Ohio.
