Zack Laughlin

Zack Thomas Laughlin, age 16 of Lancaster, born June 20, 1997, died June 6th, 2014 in an auto accident. He played percussion in the Berne Union Marching Band and Wind Ensemble, was a member of the Honor Society, and was entering his senior year of High School. He enjoyed playing video games, hanging out with friends, and playing the card game Magic the Gathering. He possessed a quick wit and could always make you smile. He loved going to concerts with his father and spending time with his family. Zack will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Zack is survived by his parents, Brett and Valerie Laughlin of Lancaster; sister, Paige Laughlin; grandparents, Ken and Alfreda Havens of Pickerington and Ron and June Laughlin of Sidney; aunts and uncles, Kim Laughlin, Tina Hottle, Mike (Kristen) Havens, Jeff Havens, and Elaine Havens. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Elaine Laughlin and uncle, Curt Hottle.
A service will take place on Wednesday at 10:30AM at the Berne Union High School, officiated by Ernie Doling. Burial will follow the service. Family and Friends may call from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM at the School on Tuesday. Memorials can be made in Zack’s name to the Berne Union Music Boosters 506 N.
