William "Bill" Kisling

William “Bill” Kisling, 95, of Lancaster, passed away on July 9, 2022 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born to the late William and Lauretta Kisling on July 27, 1926 in Greenfield, OH.

Bill was the youngest of seven children. He was a proud member of the United States Navy and served during WWII.
Bill is survived by his, children Thomas (Starla) Kisling, Karen Walter and Steven Kisling, grandchildren Amy (Brian) Rundgren, Matt (Kara) Kisling, Tom (Kathleen) Engle, great grandchildren, Abella, Harlow, Mina, Blaise, Tabor, Harrison; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Janet Rose Kisling, son in law Tim Walter and six older siblings and parents.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, July 21 in Forest Rose Cemetery at 11 AM. A procession will take place from the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130, to the cemetery. Please meet at 10:30 AM at the funeral home if you would like to participate. A luncheon will be held at the American Legion at noon following the graveside service.
