William D. Phillips 88 of Pleasantville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Heartland Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a retired brick and block layer, attended Bremen Holiness Church and a member of Fairfield Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
William is survived by his daughters, Angie Sissy (Richard) Griggs of Junction City, Ohio, Orlena Ennie (Jerry) Likens of Sugar Grove, Ohio, Mary Ann Hatfield of Oho and Renee June Phillips of Lancaster, Ohio; sons, Everett (Theresa) Phillips and Gar (Carol) Phillips all of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Everett, Elizabeth, Danielle, Alyssa, Audra and Angela; great-grandchildren, Charity, Rylee, Phoenix, Sienna and Sunnie Jo; many nieces and nephews; longtime companion, Evelyn Schmelzer; sister-in-law, Lea Phillips and brothers-in-law, Russell Tuffy England and Earl Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Lena (Glasspoole) Phillips, parents, Burton and Mabel Miller Phillips, brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Esther, Everett, Burdie and Ruth, Jake and Sarah, Bobby and Johnny Phillips, sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille Strohl, Mildred and Rocco Rocky Dibari, Edna Thomas, Isabelle England and Orlena Ennie and Bill Figgins.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio with Pastor Marvin Shipman officiating. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105.
