William Ludwick

William J. Ludwick, 85, passed away on January 7, 2018 at the Pickering House. He was born in Havensport, Ohio to the late William and Iva Ludwick on September 18, 1932.

William was a proud Veteran of the Korean War. He also enjoyed building Volkswagens, and was an avid motorcycle racer.

William is survived by his children, Terry (Pamela) Ludwick, Nelson (Linda J.) Ludwick, Connie S. Ludwick, Linda L. Ludwick, and William Curtis (Lisa) Ludwick; grandchildren, Amy, Holly, Michelle (Jason) Lay, Amber Madden, Angela McKnight, Brandi Roof, Dillon Nixon, Dakota Roof, Joshua Enczi, Michael Enczi, Linda May Enczi, Ashley Nicole Ludwick, and Jamie Ludwick; several great-grandchildren; seven step-children; and beloved pet dog, Marshall.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wives, Doris Jo Ann Ludwick, and Betty Ludwick; sisters, Alice Mae, Louise Kemmerling, and Virginia Skaggs; and lifelong friend, Floyd “Uncle Red” Romine.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 2 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 4-8 PM on Thursday, and one hour prior to service on Friday.
