William T Lindsey

William T. Lindsey, age 74, went to be with his Lord on February 26th, 2020. He was born to the late William and Silvia (Stewart) Lindsey on January 5th, 1947. He was a devout member of the Lancaster Bible Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy as a Boiler Technician. He was very passionate about martial arts and held a 5th degree black belt in Karate. He would use his martial arts skills to become a Sensei so he could also teach others Karate. He always loved to teach and especially loved coaching his family on everything he could. William will be dearly missed by many students and family.

William is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Lindsey; children, William T. Lindsey III, Jeff (Dawn) Lindsey, Melissa (Ben) Pearson; grandchildren, Hannah, Sophia, Ryder, Gus, Briel and Madi; siblings, Lee (Sandy) Lindsey, Luis (Deb) Lindsey, Clay (Candy) Stephenson; several nieces and nephews.

William is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Billie Mae; foster mother, Donna Stephenson.

A service will take place at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St Lancaster, Ohio 43130, on Tuesday, March 2nd at 11 AM.
