William "Bill" Landis, Sr

William “Bill” E. Landis, Sr. 80 of Logan, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Grant Medical Center. He was born in Baltimore, Ohio on March 27, 1935 to the late Lucian and Gladys (Shell) Landis.

He was a carpenter and a member of Union United Methodist Church.

William is survived by his daughters, Paula (Bob) Tschopp of Pleasantville, Ohio and Kay (Dan Ball) Landis of Baltimore, Ohio; sons, Bill (Angie Moss) Landis II of Blacklick, Ohio, Jeff (Natalie) Landis of Myrtle Beach, SC and Rich (Debbie Huckabaa) Landis of Thornville, Ohio; fiancé, Leona Rutter; grandchildren, Mindy (Jed) Smith, Melissa Justice, Billy (Jen Maurer) Landis III, Hilary (Jeremy) Johnson, Meghan (Jason) Milbaugh and Amber Landis; nine great-grandchildren, sisters, Loretta Nelson of Lancaster, Ohio and Mary Clark of Hillsboro, NC and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Avril Landis, parents, and brothers, John and Albert Landis.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the JOHNOSN-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 with Pastor Linda Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
