William Howdyshell

William Junior Howdyshell, age 90, of Pickerington, passed away Friday evening at the Pickering House. He was born on March 13, 1922 in Logan, Ohio to William and Lucy Mohler Howdyshell. He worked for the Boeing International Corp. for 34yrs retiring as a Tool Crib Attendant. He was a charter member of the Walnut Creek Baptist Church, and loved farming his family farm and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Barbara Kishpaugh Howdyshell; children; Naomi Yerian of Thornville, Wilma (Gene) Wallis of Baltimore, Linda (Ken) Earle of Lancaster, Harvey (Janice) Howdyshell of Baltimore, Terry (Ruth Ellen) Howdyshell of Jackson, MI, Tim (Clara) Howdyshell of London, OH, Stephen (Debra) Howdyshell of Baltimore, Carolyn (Mark) Hollopeter of Galloway, Joan (Jerry) Underwood of Baltimore, and Dorothy Howdyshell of Baltimore; 29 Grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd (Carol) Howdyshell of Ithaca, MI; sisters, Ethel Ney of McMillan, MI and Sarah (Ken) Kishpaugh of Linden, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Howdyshell; daughter, Nancy Rowley; parents, William O. and Lucy Howdyshell; brother, Noah Howdyshell; sisters, Agnes Oswald, Jane Patterson, Louellen Beery, and Naomi Howdyshell.
A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, 6935 TWP RD. 235 Logan, OH 43138, officiated by Pastor David Rowley and Pastor Michael McManus. Burial will follow the service at the Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery.
