Wayne Singer

Wayne E. Singer, 80 of Lancaster, passed away on July 5, 2014 at the Fairfield Medical Center.
Wayne was born on October 12, 1933 to the late Carl and Edna (Shumaker) Singer in Fairfield County, Ohio.

Wayne retired from Diamond Power in 1996 after 39 years of service. He was a member of the Fairfield County Antique Tractor Club and Land of Legend Tractor Club. He and his wife Barbara attended the Pleasantville United Methodist Church.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Barbara (Smurr) Singer, son Randy (Julie) Singer of Pleasantville, daughter Leesa (Darl) Evans of Newark, and son Rodney (Sandy) Singer of Burke, Virginia. Grandchildren Eric Singer, Emily Singer, Lindsey Evans (fiancé William Graves), Kyle Evans, Taylor Evans, Ashley Singer, Kaleigh Singer, Ryan Evans, and great-granddaughter Ella Graves. He is also survived by brother Don (Priscilla) Singer, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by brothers George, Willie, Floyd, and sisters Pauline, Bernice, Mabel, Dorothy, and Beulah.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday July 12, 2014 with visitation with the family from 12:00-2:00pm at the Mills Memorial United Methodist Church. Caring Cremation® has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasantville United Methodist Church or the Pickering House.
