Warren D. “Dougie” Thrush Jr.

Warren D. “Dougie” Thrush Jr., 41, of Lancaster, passed away on June 7, 2021 due to an extended illness. He was born on August 6, 1979 to Rosa and the late Warren D. Thrush Sr.

Dougie loved life, and lived it to the fullest. He was hard headed, just like his father.

He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Thrush; mother, Rosa Thrush; brother, Christopher (Samantha) Thrush; sister, Kimberly (Mark) Bond; grandmother, Edith Gertrude “Granny” Thrush; nieces and nephews, Emily, Andrew, Amelia, Savannah, Abigail, Grady, Colin, Landin, and Madison; girlfriend, Michelle Moore; step-children, Mariah, Brock, Destiny, and Daylie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dougie is preceded in death by his father, Warren D. Thrush Sr.; and grandparents, William J. Thrush Sr., and Calvin V. and Thelma Roberts.

A funeral service will take place at 4 PM on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH, 43130. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation will take place after the service, and burial will take place at a later date in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
