Warren "Corny" Francis

Warren “Corny” Francis, age 83 passed away August 5th 2014. He graduated from Amanda High School, Class of 1949. He is retired from the Fairfield County School for Boys and the Buckeye Youth Center in Columbus, Ohio. An avid sports lover that allowed many years officiating countless games in football, basketball, baseball, and continued to officiate even at home while cheering his teams on.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Francis with 60 years of marriage. He was very proud of of this and loved her with an immeasurable love. That love was devoted to three sons; Rodney (Janice) Francis of Amanda, Randy Francis (Sherri Christian) of Oakland and Ron (Beth) Francis of Lancaster, Ohio. Six grandchildren; Taressa (Kyle) Freeland, Susan Francis, David (Abigail) Francis, Sara Francis, Jordan Francis and Gabrielle Francis. Five (5) Great-Grandchildren; Blaine Holbrook, Dylan Francis, Taylor Freeland, Nola Francis and Margot Kempton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Ernest & Edith Francis, his sister, Kay Tyrolf and brother, Jack Francis. Warren comes from a large family with brothers; Bob, Bill, John and sisters; June, Susan, Jill and Ann.
He was a man of integrity, courage and strength and a life well lived that will continue in those that were blessed enough to share life with him.
A service will take place at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL on Friday at 11AM officiated by Pastor Jerry Eaton. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills in Lancaster, Ohio.
