Wanda M. Good

Wanda M. Good, 88, of Lancaster, passed away on August 1, 2023. She was born to the late Frank and Ruth Wears in Pliny, WV on December 22, 1934.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Julie (Dennis) Smith and Sue Kilbarger; grandchildren, Kurt (Jennie) Lape, Tommy Lape, and Kendra Kilbarger; nieces Joey Riegel, and Jan Nauman Sheppard, Becky (Rick) Foster, and nephew Randy (Jeanie) Wears. In her recent years the highlight of her days was when she spent time with her great grandchildren, Lexie, Laynie, and Lenyn Lape.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Good and Ernie Hedges; son, Steve Lape; siblings, Elza Wears, Wilda Nauman, Betty Miller, and Gene Wears; her son-in-law Thomas Kilbarger; her niece Tammie (Berry McCain) Wears, nephew Rick Miller, and her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may visit from 4-7 PM on Tuesday.
