Walter "Wally" E. Walker

Walter “Wally” E. Walker, age 80 of Lancaster, Ohio died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Country Lane Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the US Army and later retired from Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation. He was a member of American Legion Post #11 and enjoyed gardening and hunting.

Wally is survived by his sons, Edward Walker and Adam D. Walker both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Andrew Skinner, Kaitlyn Walker, Jared Isaac Walker, Emma Marie Walker, Brandon Matthew Walker, and Haley Bess Walker; great granddaughter, Isabeth Kaye Walker; sisters, Arlene Dusi of Reynoldsburg and Doris Debolt of Lancaster; sister-in-law Dee Walker of Lancaster, and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Kaye Walker; parents, Walter and Freda Walker; son, Rusty Walker; daughter-in-law, Lori Walker; brother, Dale Walker; and sister, Judy Walker.

A private graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Chaplain Mark Linn officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43215.
