Walter Salmen, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017.

Walter is survived by his wife, Lenore Salmen; son, Mark Salmen; daughter, Karen (Tim) Ball; great grandchild, Daphnee; sisters-in-law, Doris and Rose; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at First Baptist Church, 1950 Pleasantville Rd, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Pastor Scott Gatian officiating. Family and friends may visit from 4 to 6 PM Thursday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Private burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.

Donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in memory of Walter.
