Vivian Geneva Schroeder, 86, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away August 25, 2020 at Laurel of Heath Nursing Home. She was born in Buchtel, Ohio on September 16, 1933 to Aldren Easterling and Martha Christian.
Vivian graduated from Lancaster High School in 1953. She was loved by many. The many people that knew her, would say, she was a very kind and giving person. Vivian liked to get involved with her local community clubs and liked to volunteer her time as much as possible. She was a part of the Lions Club of Millersport, Millersport Senior Citizens and Olivedale Seniors of Lancaster. She volunteered her time at the glass museum in Lancaster. She was a part of the Etna Church of Christ. Her favorite hobbies were cross stitching and playing bingo.
Vivian is survived by her sister, Emma Harper of Millersport, Ohio; nieces, Tezra (Dave) Inscore of Florida, Melissa Greathouse of Millersport, Ohio, Vannessa (Dave) Garbark of Heath, Ohio, and Linda Thursh of Arizona; nephews, Ralph Harper II of Millersport, Ohio and Joseph Thursh of North Carolina; serval great and great-great nieces and nephews and special cousin Don Easterling.
Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Aldren Easterling and Martha Christian; step-father, Alfred Leand Schroeder; brothers, Alfred Schroeder and Leand Schroeder; sisters, Hazel Thursh and Ruth Ann.
