Virginia L. "Ginnie" Lanker

Virginia L. Lanker, 91 of Wheeling Rd, Lancaster passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at her grandson’s residence.

Ginnie, known by friends and family, was retired from JC Penney.  She attended Millersport HS.  She enjoyed socializing with everyone she met and loved caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen Lanker (Gerald Baker) of Grove City, Debra Branham (Rod) of Bremen; three grandchildren, Jessica Featheroff, Brandon Stephenson (Danielle), and Valerie Pfeffer; five great grandchildren, Zayne, Adam, Payton, Lilly and Kinsley; three step grandchildren, Josh Branham (Emily), Amber Morris and Jeremy Branham; and nine step great grandchildren, Chance, Bryson, Kiera, Laniey, Jada, Allei, Alex, Gavin and Indiana; one brother and sister-in-law, Phillip Brown (Luanna), and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit from 10-12 PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130 on Monday, May 10, 2021. A graveside service will take place at 12:45 PM in Floral Hills Memory Gardens after the visitation on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations be sent to Capital City Hospice Hope Fund at 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr, Ste 170, Columbus, OH 43231 and state in memory of Virginia Lanker.
