Virginia Eldora Watters of Lancaster, 97, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Virginia was a long time resident of Baltimore and member of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ, where she played Sunday School piano for over 50 years. She loved music, and painted a multitude of pictures with covered bridges as her favorite subject.
Virginia was daughter of the late Mary and Russell Mauger. Virginia was preceded in death by her late husband’s William (Bill) Franklin Eyman and Leo (Lee) Jackson Watters. Virginia was also preceded in death by her siblings, Clarence (Thelma) Mauger, Vernon (Bonnie) Mauger, Erma (Gene) Taylor and Herbert Mauger and son-in-law Phillip Ardrey. Virginia is survived by her children, Carol Ann Ardrey, Larry (Dawn) Eyman, Roger Eyman and Jeffrey (Lisa) Watters; grandchildren Gregory Ardrey, Valerie Ardrey, Larry Eyman Jr., William Eyman, Chuck (Rose) Eyman and Ben Watters as well as six great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild as well as nieces and nephews. Virginia will be missed by all who knew her and her never-ending smile.
A graveside service will be held at Violet Cemetery in Pickerington on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Twelve o'clock noon, with Reverend Michael Willis officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, BALTIMORE, OHIO.
