Virginia Vance

Virginia A. Vance, 95, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Main Street Terrace Care Center.

Virginia’s home, her family, and gardening were the things closest to her heart. She worked many years as a consultant for Binniger’s Floor Coverings and a designer for Kaumeyer’s Floral Shop.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Kay (Nils) Gustavson and Nancy (Al) Aleksiunas; sister-in-law, Kay Vance; grandchildren, Amy (Barry) Cohen, David Gustavson, Jon Vance, Andy Vance, and Molly Mast; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Mackenzie, Abbey, and Parker Cohen and Gaelen and Eden Mast; and sister, Jessie MacDonald.

Virginia was preceded in death by her son, David Vance and grandson, Guy Mast.

The family would like to thank Main Street Terrace Care Center for their loving care of Virginia.

A graveside service will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.
