Virginia Byers

Virginia Marie Byers, age 91, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, May 24th, 2011 at her daughter’s residence. She worked at her husband's business, Byer's Electric as a secretary. She was a great cook, a wonderful teacher, loved vacations, and she lived for her family.
She was survived by her son, Tim (Nancy) Byers of Lancaster; daughters, Barbara (John) Heston of Lancaster and Patty (Bud) Azbell of Lancaster; several grandchildren, foster grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; brother, Roy Walisa of Circleville; sister-in-law, Betty Elder of Lancaster; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Byers; infant son, Tommy Byers; infant granddaughter, Tonya Lynn Price; two sisters; and two brothers.
The family would like to give a very special thanks to Wendy Specth of Passport Provider and Central Ohio Hospice.
A Service will take place on Friday at 11AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Garden. Family and friends are welcome to call on the family from 9AM until the time of service on Friday. Memorials in her honor can be given to Passport Provider 745 E. Main St. Newark, OH 43055.
