Violet M. Moore 89 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Monday, December 6, 2010.
She was a member of Gloryland Nazarene Church. She was a great pie maker, cobbler maker and Bible scholar and was loved by many people
She is survived by her daughters, Alice (Jim) Valentine and Sharon K. Pugh; son William Lee Moore all of Lancaster, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband James Moore, son, James Edward Moore, parents, Keith and Ida Joy and sister Bertha Fausnaugh.
Funeral service will be held
Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Gloryland Nazarene Church, 3570 Coonpath Rd. NW, Carroll, Ohio 43112 with Pastors Mark Clingan and Allen Layne officiating. Burial to follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
