Violet Hoffman

Violet Irene Hoffman 86, of Stoutsville, quietly passed away on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 surrounded by her children. Violet is survived by her Son, Lewis (Kathleen) Hoffman Jr.; Daughters, Cindy (Scott) Fourman, Linda (Chris) Shoemaker, Brenda (Keith) Divelbliss, Rosa (Johnny) Hoffman-Hicks, and Lori Hoffman; along with numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lewis Hoffman Sr. and her Grandson, Josiah Lewis Hall.

Violet was born, raised, and went to school in Lancaster Ohio, but also resided in Chicago, Jacksonville FL, Thurston, and Thornport OH, then settled in Stoutsville, OH. She held a career at Anchor Hocking Corporation, but her favorite occupation was being a wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved yard sales, traveling, but mostly spending time with family and will be greatly missed by many.

Service will be held Monday, October 30th, at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130 at 11:00 AM then proceeding to Forest Rose Cemetery following service. Pastor Chris Hildenbrand officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM on Monday. A gathering of friends and family will be announced at the service. The family would like to thank all who have shown support and concern.
