Trula V Gassett

Trula V. Gasset of Lancaster died May 11, 2020 at her residence. She was born on May 27, 1955 in Columbus to Ralph and Zona Hughes McKenzie. Trula was an amazing cook who had worked as a waitress for restaurants such as Fat Cats, Olive Garden, Roots, and Bob Evans. Trula loved to crochet where she put her perfectionist skills to amazing use. Trula's biggest passion was always her family as she spent as much time as she could with them.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Charles Hartsook) Eveland; son, Troy (Jennifer Cane) Eveland; grandchildren, Charles Hartsook Jr, Aryanna Hartsook, Aliyah Hartsook, Sophiyah Hartsook; brother, Scott McKenzie; sister, Sherry McKenzie; Mother, Zona (Hughes) McKenzie; nieces and nephews, Holly McKenzie, Casey McKenzie, Matt McKenzie, Michael McKenzie.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph McKenzie.

Caring Cremation ™ will take place through Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory. Donations can be made in Trula's name to the Frank E. smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130 to help with expenses.
