Tom Bennett

Garry “Tom” Bennett, age 65 of Lancaster, died July 12, 2017. He was born to the late George and Della Tootle Bennett on March 22nd, 1952 in Yellow Bud, OH. Tom served his country in the US. Army. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and loved his family greatly. Tom will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 45years, Kay Bennett; children, Tera (Jerry) Valentine, Lori (John) Mason, and Nathan Bennett; six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren; sister, Patty Whitten; brother, Larry Bennett; uncle, Harold (Norma Jean) Bennett; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and special friends, Todd Streitenberger and Danny Martinez.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Floyd “Ricky” Bennett and sister, Judy Patrick.

A funeral service will take place on Monday at 2PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Pastor Willie Booth. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
