Biography

Tina Marie Sowers, 46, of Lancaster, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 10, 2012.

Tina was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by her family.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Sowers; children, Amber (Josh) Flanders and Timothy Hedges, Jr.; mother, Sharon Connell; father, Kenneth Mitchell; brothers, Kenneth (Leanne) Mitchell, Jr, and John (Vickie) Connell; grandchildren, Phoenix, Sienna, Brayden, and Trinity; sister-in-law, Diane (Ed) Imler; and brother-in-law, Marvin (Ann) Sowers.

Tina was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Mitchell and step-father, Robert Connell.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends and family may visit from 11:30 to 1:30 Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
