Timothy A. Cox

Timothy A. Cox, 57, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on March 23, 2022.  He was born September 10, 1964 to the late Robert and Berniece Cox in St Clair Shores, MI.

Tim was a veteran of the United States Navy retiring after 20 years of service in April 2004.  He proudly served onboard the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67), USS La Moure County (LST-1194), USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) and USS Kearsarge (LHD-3).

He is survived by his youngest son James Robert (14) and his mother, Angela; Special Aunt and Uncle Donna and Earl Kane of Lancaster.  Children Ashley and Timothy Brandon of Chesapeake, VA; siblings Wendy Greene and Michael Cox of Michigan and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Berniece Bacer, Diane Springer, and Laurie Beebe.

A memorial service will take place at 7 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130 on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Military honor's will follow the service. Family and friends may visit from 5 PM until the time of the service.
