Timothy Raver

Timothy L. Raver, 67, of Lancaster, formerly of Baltimore, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the Pickering House. He was born August 4, 1949, to the late Charles and Cora Raver in Basil, Ohio.

Tim was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Baltimore. He was also a member of Moose Lodge #2321 and a social member of the Liberty Union VFW Post 3761 in Baltimore.

He is survived by his sons, Cory (Kelli) Raver, Casey (Mindy) Raver, and Clark (Shelly) Raver; grandchildren, Brentley, Derek, and Rian; and brother, S. Michael Raver.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Kay Raver; his parents; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 29 at 10:30 AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 700 S. Main St, Baltimore, Ohio 43105. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. Main St, Baltimore, Ohio 43105 and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Tim’s name be given to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Caring Cremation will follow the service.
