Timothy R. Baker 79 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center.
He was a retired electronic technician for Arvin Electronics (Diamond Electronics) of Lancaster. He was as member of Calvary Baptist Church and Rushville Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Berniece R. Baker; sons, Phillip R. (Cathy) Baker of Rushville, Ohio and James T. (Julie) Baker of Bremen, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher M. Baker, Joy Baker, Aaron Baker, Nicole Horn and Michael Baker; great grandchildren, Christopher A. Baker, Brayden Baker, Madison Miller and Mileena Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Baker and Leone Spencer.
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Nihiser officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may visit Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 and 1 hour prior the service at the church on Monday.
