Thomas "Gregg" Greggory Brown

Thomas “Gregg” Greggory Brown, age 75, died Jan. 21, 2023 in Atlanta, GA where he was living with his daughter, Myana.  He was born Nov. 19, 1947 to the late Thomas J. and Malva S. Brown in Lancaster, OH.  Gregg graduated from Lancaster High School in 1965 where he was a standout athlete in football, baseball, and track.  He graduated from Central State University on a football scholarship and received a Master’s Degree from John Carroll University.  After a short career in teaching, Gregg moved his family to Oakland, CA, where he worked as an insurance claims adjuster and supervisor.  He is survived by his daughter, Myana Kim (Edward) Solomon and son, Jefferson J. Brown, grandchildren, Freeman and Zachry Solomon. Cremation has taken place through the Smith, Dennis-Smith Funeral Home in Atlanta Georgia.  A private family service will take place at a later date.  Online condolences can be made at www.funerlhome.com
