Thomas Paul Switzer, 77, of Baltimore, passed away at his home on July 1, 2015. He was an engineer with the Metal Forge Company in Columbus for 25 years. As symbol to his creative mind, he had several patents in his name. He had a passion for aviation and cars, and was a lifelong member of the NRA. Tom dedicated much of himself to his son and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Shyler (Shauna) Switzer; grandchildren, Elias, Ian, and Seth; and his sister, Kathleen Hoeltzel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Pauline Switzer.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Johnson-Smith funeral home located at 207 South Main St. in Baltimore. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Baltimore. Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
