Thomas Smith

Thomas Earl Smith, age 71, of Lancaster, passed away on May 18, 2013 at Crestview Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Lancaster on September 16th, 1941 to Joseph and Gladys Lyndsey Smith. He worked for Anchor hocking as a tow motor operator for 35 + years before retiring. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. He served his country in the US Air Force. He loved reading his bible and writing recipes.
He is survived by his children, Jenny (David) Francis of Lancaster, Tammy Smith of Waverly, Rainny Smith of Kentucky, and Thomas (Angie) Smith of Lancaster; 26 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; brothers, Herbert Smith, John (Becky) Smith, Mike (Irene) Smith; sisters,Beverly Smith-Morrison, Pearl Schorr, Lucy (John) Triplett, Kay (Tom) Bennett, and Judy (Howie) Jordan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vaughn Smith, Ralph Smith, and Paul Smith; sister, Rebbecca Alexander.
Caring Cremation® has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A family memorial service will take place at a later date.
