Thomas Slagle, Sr

Thomas J. Slagle, Sr., 72, of Baltimore, died at his home on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

Thomas worked for many years in sales and he retired from The Original Mattress Factory. He loved music and was an avid collector of 45 records.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Cindi (Andy) Shay, Tom (Tona) Slagle, Jr., Debbie (Brandon) Mitchell, Deb (Stacy) Carpenter, and Ann (Chad) Kistler; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Warna) Slagle; and many good friends made in his journey through life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bonnie.

Family and friends may visit from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S Main St, Baltimore, OH 43105. Caring Cremation will follow.

Donations may be made in memory of Thomas to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd, Newark, OH 43055.
