Thomas Francis Rork

Thomas Francis Rork, age 79 of Lancaster, passed away June 22, 2023 at the Pickering House.  He was born to the late Philip and Julia Tracy Rork on May 22, 1944 in the Bronx, NY.  He graduated from St. Michael's College located in Colchester, Vermont where he met the love of his life and his future wife, Frances. He worked for 22 years at Kinney Shoes as a designer and buyer.  He then retired from Rocky Boots where he was director of sourcing and a designer of men’s boots. He attended St. Bernadette Catholic Church and his amazing personality and love for life will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 1/2 years, Frances Murphy Rork, daughters, Heather, Brigid, and Amber Rork; he was preceded in death by his son, Seanan Thomas Rork; survived by grandson, Brennan Thomas Rork; siblings, Margaret (William) Cooke, Michael Rork, and Dr. Dennis (Marianne) Rork; nieces and nephews, Jason, Karen, Michael Jr., Justin, Andrew, Katherine, Jillian, and Anthony.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 28th at 10:30AM, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Caring Cremation™ will follow the Mass.  Family and friends may visit at the Frank E.
