Thomas E Kuhn, 85, passed away into the arms of his savior on October 11, 2017 at The James Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Lancaster on August 18, 1932 to William and Hazel Kuhn. He was a mouldmaker by trade and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an honorable man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was immensely proud of his family who he leaves to mourn for him. His wife, Phyllis, of sixty five years; daughter, Stacey (Henry) Eyman, Springfield, Ohio; son, Dana (Sabine) Kuhn, Upper Arlington, Ohio; grandchildren, Henry (Miegan) Eyman Jr., Holly (Kevin) Brennan, Lauren (fiance Andrew Storch) Kuhn and Alex Kuhn. Great grandchildren, Evelyn Eyman and Rosalie Eyman. Sisters-in-law, Joan Wedge, Kathleen Wilson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Wharton.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, The Fairfield County Heritage Association, American Legion Post 11, AMVETS Post 1985 and McDonalds West Coffee Group.
Funeral service will be at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Cheryl Foulk officiating. Calling hours on Sunday, 1:00 to 4:00 at the funeral home and one hour prior to service. Internment with military rites immediately following the service.
