Thomas Edward Hanna, 65 of Lancaster, born August 8, 1948, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, surrounded by his family and friends.
Tom worked for Anchor Hocking for 5 years, and was retired from Premix/Venture where he drove a tow-motor for 28 years. He was also a painter at the Old County Home and had done various roofing jobs for a local roofing company.
Tom is survived by his wife, Shelby-Anne Hanna of Lancaster; special niece, Jaylen McCord also of Lancaster; daughters, Sherry Johnson (Paul Rock) of Corning, Amy Thompson of New Straitsville, and Alissa (Mark) Campbell of Marysville; and sons, Daryl Hanna of St. Croix, Virgin Islands and Brian Hanna (Tara) of New Lexington. Tom had 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and one uncle. Sisters, Susie (Gary) Moenter of Lancaster, Rita (Bill) Cross of Palo Alto, CA, Peggy (Rick) Rice of Lakeland, FL, and Cynthia Layberger of Lancaster.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Helen Hanna; brothers, Jerry, John, and Ted Hanna; and nephews, Johnny McKenna and Tony Hanna.
Caring Cremation has taken place; there will not be a memorial service.
