Thomas Getz

Thomas L. Getz, age 88 of Lancaster, died December 4th, 2017 at the Pickering House. He was born in Baltimore, OH on October 5th, 1929 to the late, William and Phoebe Getz. He worked for Gaylord Container as a die mounter for 32 years, then as a custodian at L.H.S. for 12 years, but he always enjoyed farming. Thomas will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his son, Randolph (Nikki) Getz; daughter, Nikki Getz; grandchildren, Jason (Stacy) Getz, Cheryl Getz Jacobs; great grandchildren, Alex and Chase Taggart, and Payton Jacobs.

Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rita Getz; infant twins, Todd and Judy; parents; 3 brothers, Robert, James, and infant Ferdinand.

Caring Cremation™ has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A Graveside service will take place on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 at Forest Rose Cemetery.
