Thomas Beach Jr

Thomas J. Beach Jr., age 77 of Pickerington, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 13th, 2016 at Riverside Hospital. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the US. ARMY. Tom loved watching and playing all sports. He was a member of the 1957 undefeated Mt Vernon High School football team. He played church league basketball and was a 440 track runner. He was also involved with the D.A.R.E. program at the Pickerington Schools. He retired from Fed Ex in Columbus. Tom will be greatly missed.

Tom is survived by his mother, Martha P. Beach; sisters, Kay and Sara Beach; brother, Ted (Fran) Beach; and many nieces; grandnephews; and grandnieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. Beach Sr.; sister, Ellen Clark; and nephew, Stephen Hacker.

Caring Cremation® has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family at a later date. Memorials in Tom’s name can be made to Habitat to Humanity. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
