Thomas L. Azbell 71 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center.
He was a retired school teacher for Fairfield County Schools. Thomas was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hocking County Retired Teachers Association, and life member of Ohio Teachers Association.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin (Daniel) Boggs; grandsons, Terry (Linda) Corbett and Drake Boggs all of Lancaster, Ohio; first cousins and second cousins; canine companions, Ginger and Tang.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy S. Azbell on May 11, 2012, parents, George and Ethel “Marge” Azbell, and cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Roger Quay officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may visit Wednesday from 9-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
