Thomas Artz

Thomas M. Artz, age 86 of Rushville, died November 7th, 2014 at OSU Medical Center. He was born on September 8th, 1928 in Hebron, OH to his late parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Canter Artz. He graduated from Hebron High School, and Ohio State University. He served in the NAVY. He retired as a Quality Control Engineer for AT&T. He was a member of the Somerset United Methodist Church, was a Mason at the Hebron Lodge #0116, and a member of the Scottish Rite of Columbus.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Louise Artz of Rushville; brother, Jack Artz of Thornville
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
Caring Cremation ™ has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME and burial will take place at Hallsville Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made in Thomas’s name to a charity of you choosing.
