Lancaster - Theron “Keith” Repp, 87, died Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Pickering House.
We lost a father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and a friend to many. However, heaven gained a devoted Christian. Keith was a 1954 graduate of Hilliard High School, and attended Ohio University. He joined the Ohio National Guard as a photographer and later earned his sharp shooter medal. He worked at OhioBell/AT&T for 36 years, retiring at 53 years old. After retirement he spent his time with his family, and enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, camping, and hunting. He took many fishing trips to Canada, and fell in love with the serenity of the Canadian environment. He was a senior leader in the Boy Scouts of America (Troop 98 Gahanna, Ohio) and the Explorers. His love for photography continued throughout his life and he never missed a chance for a good photo. He was a devoted follower of all Ohio State sports, and rarely missed a game. His strong religious devotion to the Lord, and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lancaster was a large part of his life.
He is survived by his children Bill J. (Michelle Byers) Repp, David K. Repp, and Nancy S. (Charles) Eckstein; grandchildren Jeremy C. (Jessica) Repp, Kerry L. (Tom) O'Neil, Jacob M. Repp, Daniel K. Repp, Aimee E. Repp, Jason P. Armstrong and Cassandra Cash; numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; cousin Pete Nibert; sister-in-law Roberta D. Green; and his beloved pets Myla and Jasper.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Patricia G. Repp; and his parents Theron J. and Elizabeth F. (Nibert) Repp.
