Theodore "Ted" Taylor Sr

Theodore “Ted” Taylor Sr., 70, of Circleville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Pickering House in Lancaster.  He was born July 15, 1953, to Frank and Peggy Taylor.

Ted loved fishing, muscle cars, and traveling but most of all, his family.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired union sheet metal worker, and a business owner of TZT Manufacturing & Contracting, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; his children, Katie (Andrew) Guba, Francie Taylor, and Theodore “Ted” (Shanette) Taylor Jr.; his grandchildren, Zachary, Tanner, A.J., Hayley, Abigail; siblings, Frank “Jerry” Taylor and Rebecca Taylor; and sisters-in-law, Betty (William) Elder and Mary Morehart.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Peggy, and sisters, Theresa Harlan and Joyce Ann Taylor.

A funeral service will take place Monday, January 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM at FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Friends and family may visit one hour prior. Burial will take place following the service at Carroll Cemetery where there will be military honors. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130.
