Theodore "Ted" Kellner

Theodore “Ted” Kellner 66 of Thornville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the Laurels of Heath.

He was born on July 18, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio and had worked at a Dawes Arboretum.

Ted enjoyed playing darts, mowing grass and just plain being outdoors. He loved his OSU Buckeyes, grandchildren and being able to help people. He also enjoyed watching the History Channel and UFC Wrestling.

Ted is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cathy Kellner; children, Amanda Christine Collini of South Carolina, Theodore “T.J.” Jerry Kellner II of North Carolina, Johnathan Scott Kellner of Thornville, and Elizabeth Marie Kellner of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; mother, Jeri Kellner of Florida; brother, Kenneth (Drenille) Keener of Fairfield Beach; several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friend, Jon Olszanski.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry R. Kellner and three children, Sarah Renee Kellner, Joseph Ray Kellner and David Benjamine Kellner.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore, Ohio 43105 with Pastor Mike Willis officiating. Burial to follow in Hampson Cemetery. Friends may visit 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
