Theodore Beach

On March 5th, 2025, Theodore (Ted) Beach, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior.

Ted was a person that loved being with people and planning activities.

He graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in psychology and physical fitness education.

He loved teaching kids and pushing them to achieve their athletic goals. He loved tennis, golf, football, basketball, and baseball. He would be the person that gathered the kids at family events and got all of them active in some type of game. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan.

He was a long-time member of Fairfield Christian Church in Lancaster, Ohio.

He loved God, his wife Fran, and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Beach, daughter Katie (Lee) Schantz, granddaughter Jessica (Steve) Vereb, stepchildren Debra Barber, Steve (Beth) Barber, Dianne (Art) Barber, and Greg (Kelly) Barber, sisters Kay and Sara Beach, several nieces, step grandchildren and 15 step great children.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Martha Beach, daughter Charlene Beach, brother Tom Beach, sister Ellen Clark, nephew Stephen Hacker and stepson Robert (Cheryl) Barber.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Lan-fair of Lancaster and Absolute Hospice for their dedicated care of Ted.

A private family burial will take place later.
