Thelma Maddux

Thelma L. Maddux 90 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Lan-Fair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Lancaster United Brethren Church, loved gardening, camping, cooking, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Sheryl (Doug) Potter of Lancaster, Ohio, sons, Rodney Maddux of Ohio, Timothy (Wildeana) Maddux of Lancaster, Ohio, Tracy (Sandy) Maddux of Bremen, Ohio and Kevin (Dannette) Maddux of Baltimore, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; sister, Elma Dean Bowers of Lancaster, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Valerie Maddux of Barnhart, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Maddux, son, Dan Maddux, parents, Elmer and Blanche England and sister, Audrey Azberry.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with burial to be in West Rushville Cemetery. Friends may visit 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
