Terry Lee Pierce, Sr

Terry Lee Pierce, Sr. 64, of Lancaster, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Terry was born May 18, 1950, in Lancaster to the late Marguerite (Smyers) and Russell L. Pierce, Sr.

Terry served his country in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. Terry worked for many years as a carpet installer.

Terry is survived by his sons, James Pierce and Terry (Thea Hamilton) Pierce; daughters, Christina (Scott) Johnson, Melissa (Jeff) Poston, Amber (Jason) Miller, and Angel Pierce; brothers, Russell Pierce and Gene (Betty) Pierce; sister, Donna Granados; half brothers, Ralph Smyers and Jimmy Smyers; special friend, Mary Smith; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gerald Pierce.

Funeral service for Terry will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster with the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail performing Veterans burial rites. Friends may visit from 11:00 to 1:00 Monday at the funeral home.

Donations may be made in memory of Terry to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
