Terry L. Leiendecker

Terry L. Leiendecker, 78, of Thurston, passed away on January 17, 2024 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late Lawrence and Nellie Leiendecker in Lancaster, OH on December 26, 1945.

Terry retired from Rockwell International and worked for several years at the Basil Joint fire department. He enjoyed tinkering and working with his hands. One of his favorite hobbies was talking with others over Ham and CB radio, where he went by the handle: Wolfman.

Terry is survived by his children, Stacey Leiendecker and Chris (Elizabeth) Leiendecker; grandchildren, Meara (Cameron) Roberts, Shawon Leiendecker, and Jesse (Kielea) Wampler; great grandson, Jesse Wampler Jr.; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Leiendecker; parents; and several beloved pets.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 10:30 AM in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, OH 43105. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 5-8 PM at the funeral home on Monday.
