Talitha Mae (Estep) Nichols, 86, of Sugar Grove, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 19, 2014.

Talitha was born May 10, 1928, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late William and Verna Estep. She was a 1946 graduate of Allensville High School and married her husband, Delbert O. Nichols on May 29, 1946. She worked for the Goodyear plant in Logan for 25 years.

Talitha is survived by her husband, Delbert O. Nichols; children, Clara (David) Aspel, Stephen O. Nichols, Deb (Tim) Duncan, Cheryl (Mike) Speirs, and Kenneth Nichols; sisters, Georgia (Paul) Huffer, Martha Remy, and Mildred (Jim) Pickell; brothers, John (Edna) Estep and Richard (Joyce) Estep; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Talitha was preceded in death by her brother, Ambrose Lilburn Estep at six months old; sisters, Emma Estep Nichols, Ruth Ellen Estep Underwood, and Norma Jean Estep Shaw; and grandsons, Timothy Michael “Mickie” Duncan and Stephen Travis Nichols.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at New Life Christian Center, 2642 Columbus-Lancaster Rd NW, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Pastor Gary Keller officiating. Burial will follow in Stukey Cemetery, Sugar Grove. Friends may visit from 4-8 pm Tuesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster and one hour prior to the service at the church.
