Steven Lee Reid, 51, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014
For every ending, no matter how tragic, there will be a new beginning. On August 20th at 12:19 pm Steven took his last breath, as a single lonely tear fell from his eye. But his life will go on in the hearts of all he touched. A violent crime took his life far too early and it took a courageous passerby to stop and help him, as he was fighting for his life. The hearts he has touched, the memories he left behind, that crazy smile, his hard on the outside personality, and twisted humor were definitely one of a kind.
Tonight as we look to Heaven, we notice a bright new star in the sky, bigger and much brighter than the rest, just above the river to the west. Enjoy your journey, you are free to go on as you please. As you are riding to the rainbows edge, stop and say Hello to Rod and tell him that we are all doing fine. Check in on us from time to time, because well always need you by our sides.
We hope that youve found peace and that youve been released of your worldly struggles. And that from the Heavens you can see how deeply you are loved.
May peace be with you and calm waters for fishing, since your work on Earth is done. Save us all spot, until we meet again. Godspeed.
