Stanley Dorst

Stanley E. Dorst, age 75, died August 16, 2015 at McCafferty Adult Care Facility in Pleasantville. He was born on August 22, 1939 to the late, Pearl and Gladys Day Dorst in Meigs County. Stanley retired as a line mechanic for AEP, he was also an auxiliary Deputy Sheriff in Fairfield County, and a volunteer firefighter, for the Pleasantville Fire Department. He was a member of the Sells Road Church of Christ in Lancaster. He was a loving, husband, father, and grandfather, who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Deborah) Dorst of Pleasantville and Terry (Cathy) Dorst of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Phillip, Wesley, Kiersten, and Brooklynn Dorst; brother, Edward Dorst of Baltimore; sister, Darlene (Eldon) Deeter of Baltimore; and several nieces and nephews.
Stanley was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon K. Dorst, on April 10, 2013 and his parents.
Caring Cremation™ has taken place through the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life service, at the North Market St. Church of Christ on August 29th, 2015 at 2 PM, at 314 N Market St. Somerset, OH 43783.
