Shirley Reedy

Shirley Reedy, 70, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2011. Shirley was born Thursday, May 23, 1940, to the late Lucille Henry and Charles Cottrill.

She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Logan. She had numerous jobs in her lifetime. The most important was domestic engineering. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and gardening.

Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dick Reedy and son, Gregory.

She is survived by sons, Jerry (Missy) Reedy, Scott (Shelley) Reedy, Steve Reedy, and Chuck (Karen) Reedy; daughters, Lynnette (Ed) Elswick, Kathy (Rick) Clum, Debbie Sigler, and Connie Sue (Walt) Eck; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Charlene (Steve) Golden and Janet English; and brother, Dick Cottrill.

Per Shirley’s request, there will be no services. Caring Cremation has taken place with the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.

Donations may be made in Shirley’s name to The Pickering House.
